You can now rearrange documents in the binder on a phone or tablet by pressing and holding an item, then dragging it to its new spot. Before, the list would scroll away as you tried to drag and cancel the move — a quick swipe still scrolls as usual, but a press-and-hold picks the item up.
We also fixed line breaks on iPad: if you write with a Magic Keyboard or another external keyboard, pressing Shift+Enter now drops to the next line within the same paragraph instead of starting a brand-new one.
One caveat: the on-screen keyboard on iPhone and iPad doesn't tell apps when Shift is held, so it sends the same signal for Shift+Enter as it does for a plain Enter. Because of that iOS limitation, this line-break shortcut only works with a hardware keyboard and we're unable to support it on the on-screen keyboard.
How to use it
On a touchscreen, open the binder and press and hold any document or folder for a moment until it lifts. Keep your finger down and drag it up, down, or into a folder, then let go to drop it in place. A quick swipe over the list still scrolls it like before.
On an iPad with an external keyboard, put your cursor where you want the break and press Shift and Enter together. The text moves to the next line while staying part of the same paragraph — handy for poems, addresses, or song lyrics.
Using the on-screen keyboard instead? Shift+Enter can't be detected there because of an iOS limitation, so a regular Enter and a new paragraph is the way to go on the software keyboard for now.
