Selecting text on your phone no longer opens the binder

Sliding a finger across words to select them on a phone could open the binder instead, because a swipe from the left edge was also the gesture for opening it. That swipe is gone: the binder button at the top-left is now the only way to open the binder, and selecting text near the left margin works like anywhere else.

Closing the binder also used to jump the document back to its first line. It now stays exactly where you were reading or writing.

How to use it

On a phone, tap the ☰ button at the top-left of the screen to open the binder. Swiping in from the left edge no longer does anything.

Pick a scene, or tap the ✕ in the binder or the dimmed area beside it to close the binder. The document underneath stays scrolled to where you left it, and the keyboard stays down until you tap back into the text.

To select text, press and hold a word and drag the handles as usual. Starting near the left edge of the screen is fine now.
