Beta readers can read your shared pages in dark mode

Pages you share with beta readers now come in four reading palettes — Auto, Light, Dark and Tome — so nobody has to read your chapters on a glaring white page at midnight.

Auto follows the reader's own device, so a phone or computer already set to dark mode shows your pages dark without anyone touching anything. Readers can switch at the bottom of any page, and their choice stays with them from chapter to chapter — even through a password-protected link.

How to use it

Share part of your manuscript as usual: open the Share dialog, choose the scenes, and create the link.

Open the link. At the bottom of each chapter you will see Reading theme: Auto · Light · Dark · Tome. Tap one to switch, and the page reloads in that palette.

Auto is the default and follows the reader's device: if their phone or computer is in dark mode, your pages open dark automatically.

Tome uses the same gold-on-dark look as the app's Tome theme. Whichever palette a reader picks stays with them as they move between chapters.
